In 1997 Melbourne was rocked by the launch
of Triple M football. At long last, footy fans could listen
to a fresh and innovative call with cutting edge commentary
from the best in the business.
The success of Triple M Football in the
Melbourne market encouraged us to expand the broadcast,
and in 1999 Triple M Football's coverage extended to Adelaide
and Perth. We're very proud to be acknowledged by the Australian
Football League as the official FM AFL Network.
