BLACK THUNDER BBQ The Black Thunder BBQ's are a great way to promote businesses and events in a fun and entertaining way. The Black Thunders promote the location through a live cross to the on air studio inviting listeners to join them for a free BBQ at the client's location. The Today Network caters for the BBQ, which includes delicious sausages with cheese and onions topped with sauce. A standard Black Thunder BBQ lasts for up to two hours and caters for up to 500 people. There are two Thunder pilots at each BBQ cooking away. At every cross the Black Thunders will give listeners the chance to register their name to win the major Black Thunder prize and at the end of each week the station draws one lucky winner from the registrations, at a location of the client's choice. The Major Black Thunder promotion would run for a one week period with the winners announcement taking place during Friday afternoons location crosses.
