The Interactive team at Austereo is responsible for continuing Austereo's long-term expansion in digital media. With the radical increase of the accessibility of digital media, Austereo is uniquely poised to lead the charge as our audiences continue to expand their consumption of digital content.
Our move into digital platforms is wide-ranging and includes repurposing of traditional radio content, including online streaming and podcasting, as well as providing unique, compelling content across our suite of websites. Moving forward, this foundation will be strengthened by embracing the opportunities that new technology presents to encourage interaction and engagement through user-generated content.
Austereo has a commercial agreement with Fairfax Digital, under which both companies have agreed to collaborate on technology infrastructure and content in order to develop stronger offerings, user-engagement and to facilitate coordinated cross-promotion of entertainment content to each company's audiences.
